Live Broadcasting from Prostream either involves the broadcast team attending the event or we rent the equipment for a minimum term of 5 days.  When broadcasting a live event there are three main points to take in to account:

With the Live event Prostream gets involved up to 60 days before the event to promote the event and the ability to sell advanced tickets, the event is then broadcast during the live period and then the recorded and edited version is added to the platform for an unlimited amount of time to earn revenue on a “see again” video on demand service. 

Live Event Broadcasting - The Package

Broadcasting an online live event seems very simple, but the big issues with this include, “can a person access it”, “how do we monitor viewers” and “how do we make revenue from the internet broadcast” are completely handled within the Prostream Online Event Stream Platform (www.eventstream.co.uk) with a single level of support:

Full control of one stage on the www.eventstream.co.uk platform with full branding and support by a dedicated account manager from promotion, live event and all the way through to our watch again service.  All events are broadcast at 1200kps if possible.

The ability to add unlimited content in the form of a live feed, event satellite transmission, a Sky Channel Rebroadcast or Video on demand

Backup 3 minute video loop on live feeds in case of signal failure which will play automatically so there is never “dead air”

A Multi bandwidth stream including High Quality 1200kps and low quality 400kps video feeds for all live and video on demand content

The ability to charge viewers to watch your content using the UKVIEW Credit System, no need for credit card account

The option to add live events on to the platform with pre event ticket sales, again no credit card account needed

Dedicated  1 Gig Connected Server on the Prostream Network with 250 Gigabytes of video storage for content playback

The allocated committed capacity for the event is 100 people via the Prostream Cisco Network with burst traffic up to 1000 concurrent people.

All additional Prostream traffic is purchased at a cost of £100.00 per additional 10 viewer capacity used per single day

Each channel has the ability to add a pre-roll advert to be played before each piece of content for sponsorship revenue.

Live Event Broadcasting - Pay Per View Payout Structure

With the Stream Event Platform you have the ability to charge viewers to see your production at a price specified by you, the user can purchase a ticket for your event and then rent and view your content as a recorded replay as many times as they like in a 48 hour period after the event.   Prostream takes the payment in the form of credits which are purchased at a price of £0.10 per credit from the viewer and Prostream pays out the following structure based on the monthly revenue earned as follows:
